A youth found dead mysteriously at friends residence in Kalain, Cachar, which sparks suspicious on October 12 (Sunday). The youth identified as Shahajan Beg, also known as Saju, a resident of Latimara village.
According to reports, Shahajan has stayed at friend Junaid Ahmed house on Saturday night. However, the next his lifeless body recovered under unexplained circumstances in one of the rooms.
The dead youth friends Junaid stated that both had dinner together on Saturday night and went to sleep in two separate rooms. Next morning, when Shahajan did not wake up and respond, he allegedly break the door to open and found him dead.
However, Shahajan’s family members have questioned Junaid’s version of events. His maternal uncle alleged, “Around 11 AM, I received a call from his friend claiming my nephew had died in his sleep. But when I reached the house, the door was still locked from inside. How could he declare Shahajan dead without entering the room?”
Kalain Police immediately rushed to the scene after they received call, recovered the dead body and sent it for postmortem to Silchar Medical College and Hospital. Further investigation si going on.
