Woman beats her own 8 years-old son to death in Tripura

A tragic incident took place in West Joynagar, Tripura, where a woman beat to death her 8-years old son. The incident occurred on June 10, at the evening time. The Agartala Police has taken her into custody.

The woman accused, identified as Suprabha Gowala, a residents of Kailashahar. She removed to West Joynagar with her son after she abandoned by her husband, Ram Gowala.

According to reports, on Monday evening, at around 6:00 p.m. Suprabha Gowala bound her son with a rope and beaten up to death with a bamboo stick in Rented house in West Joynagar, Tripura.

During questioning the mother confessed the crime. She states that her son’s behavior had become difficult and she could not handle his misbehavior anymore. Suprabha also stated that her son steal money from house and also creates problem when taken to work place. She admitted that she killed her son.

Following the incident Tripura Police and large contingent of TSR arrived at the incident place and found Suprabha sitting beside her son’s dead body. She also confessed about the crime and will accept any punishment for her crime. West Tripura Police Station officer-in-charge Paritosh Das said that a case has filed under 302 of the IPC.

Suprabha Gowala also had a married daughter. The recovered the body and sent it to postmortem. Further investigation is going on.
