A video goes viral on social media where a female SpiceJet Employee slap a CISF (ASI) officer at Jaipur International Airport. The incident took place on Thursday, according to reports.

The Female SpiceJet Employee arrested for slapping the police personal on Thursday. In the video footage shows that the CISF officer was talking with woman. Suddenly, the female staff step towards him and slapped him at the face. The female constable steps in and takes the airline employee aside.

The female staff, identified as Anuradha Rani who works as a ground staff member at SpiceJet Airlines. She has arrested under sections 121 (1) (causing harm to stop a public servant from doing their job) and 132 (assaulting a public servant) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). However, today she filed a case against the CISF officer accusing him of misconduct and making indecent comments.

Why did SpiceJet Employee Slap the CISF ASI Officer?

In response to the incident, SpiceJet released a statement by stating the incident as โ€œserious case of sexual harassmentโ€ by the CISF officer. They also stated that the CISF officer allegedly invited the female employee to โ€œcome and meet after his duty hours at his home.โ€

“SpiceJet is taking quick legal action in this serious case of sexual harassment against its female employee and has contacted the local police. The airline strongly supports its employee and is committed to providing her with full support,” the airline stated.

According to CISF complaint, an argument took place between Anuradha and CISF officer when Anuradha along with staffs entering airport through vehicle gate at around 4:40 am on Thursday.

She stopped by the ASI for allegedly not having permission to use that gate. Despite having a valid airport entry pass, she was asked to wait for screening at the nearby crew entrance because no female CISF personnel were available. She was not allowe to enter through the “vehicle gate.” Jaipur airport police station SHO Ram Lal said the ASI then called a female colleague for the security check, but the argument escalated, and the SpiceJet employee slapped him.

Further investigation is going on by the police.
