Cachar police arrested two drug peddlers with suspected heroin near the Silchar Railway Station on Tuesday night.
Acting on tip-off, Cachar police conducted an operation on April 15 evening, in the area near Silchar Railway Station. In this operation police managed to arrest two drug peddler identified as Md Jinnat Ali & Md Abzalur Rahman, both residents of Rupohi, Teliha Chapori in Nagaon.
Police also seized 5 nos of soap cases (190g) containing suspected to be Heroin from their possession.
The estimate worth of the seized items would be at around 29 lakh.
Further investigation is going on.
