An explosion and gun fire took place in Turkey capital Ankara. Two police officer injured in this incident. The explosion took place in front of the Interior Ministry buildings on Sunday at around 9:30 am. 2 terrorist came to the area by commercial vehicle and carried out the attack.

Turkey interior minister says via X, โ€œAt around 09.30, 2 terrorists who came with a light commercial vehicle in front of the entrance gate of the General Directorate of Security of our Ministry of Internal Affairs, carried out a bomb attack. One of the terrorists blew himself up and the other terrorist was neutralized. During the fire, 2 of our police officers were slightly injured. I wish a speedy recovery to our heroes. OUR STRUGGLE WILL CONTINUE RULESLESS UNTIL THE LAST TERRORIST IS NEUTRALIZEDโ€

According to Turky Media report.ย  Multiple suspicious package and bags has been denoted from the attack area in a controlled manner.

An Investigation has been launched into Turkey an explosion attack

Turkish Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc says a Judicial investigation has been launched initially by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutorโ€™s Office in to the terror attack.

He said in a social media platform X, โ€œI condemn the terrorist attack carried out in front of the General Directorate of Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I wish a speedy recovery to our injured police officers. A judicial investigation was immediately launched by our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office regarding the treacherous attack. The investigation will be carried out extensively in all its aspects under the coordination of the Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor assigned to the incident. These attacks will in no way hinder Turkey’s fight against terrorism. Our fight against terrorism will continue even more determinedly. No one should doubt this.โ€
