Educational Qualification for the post of Professor
| Ph.D. degree in relevant field (detailed below separately) and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch (detailed below separately. AND Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least three (03) years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor AND At least six (06) research publications at the level of Associate professor in SCI journals/ UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least two (02) successful Ph.D. as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion OR At least ten (10) research publications at the level of Associate professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of ‘journals till the date of eligibility of promotion |
Educational Qualification for the post of Associate Professor
| Ph.D. degree in relevant field (detailed below separately) and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch (detailed below separately) AND Minimum of eight(08)years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least two (02) years shall be post Ph.D. experience AND At least six (06) research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. |

The Academic score as specified under UGC regulation, 2018 in Appendix II (Table 3A) for (Universities, shall be considered for short-listing of candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview including a pre interview presentation.

Tezpur University Recruitment Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for the post of Registrar and Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) for the other posts.

Applicants must submit copy of the e-generated receipt of the payment along with the hard copy of the application.

- candidate will have to register his/her email id and mobile number on the online portal.
- After registration, candidate have to fill the online application and complete Personal Details, Qualification Details, upload photo/signature and submit Fee through Online
- After submitting the online application, the candidates required to take print out of the finally submitted online application and retain the same with them.
- After submission of the ONLINE application in the portal, a duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) must be submitted to “The Registrar, Tezpur University, Tezpur-784 028, Assam” along with all necessary enclosures including the proof of submission of application fee and “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, wherever applicable, by the last date. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed “Application for the post of … (name of the post), Advt. No. 05 /2024”.
