Eligibility Criteria for SSC Constable GD 2025

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens and must provide a Domicile/PRC of the State/UT mentioned in their application.

Age Limit

  • 18 to 23 years as on 1 January 2026
  • Born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

Educational Qualification

Must have passed Matriculation/10th from a recognized board by 01-01-2026.

CBT Syllabus

A) General Intelligence & Reasoning

Analogies, spatial visualization, decision making, non-verbal reasoning, coding-decoding, series, etc.

B) General Knowledge & Awareness

Current affairs, India & neighbouring countries, Geography, Polity, Economy, History, Science.

C) Elementary Mathematics

Number systems, percentages, averages, profit-loss, mensuration, time-work, ratio-proportion.

D) English/Hindi

Basic comprehension and grammar.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
