SIRISH Scholarship – Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Schemes:

The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, is the implementing body of the Department of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare. The Directorate implements a variety of schemes across a wide spectrum, ranging from scholarships for school-going students, skills and entrepreneurship, startup grants in aid for self-employment activities, grants in aid to women SHGs, etc., every year.

Eligibility of SIRISH Scholarship:

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and belong to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community.
• An applicant whose annual family income is less than 5.00 lakh is eligible for those scholarships.
