Dholai By-Election 2024 Vote counting is going at Silchar ISBT and it began from 8.00 am, on November 23. The chaos erupted due to lack of communication between journalist and officials in the morning, leading to accusations of excessive force by the department.
According to reporters, No updates was shared by the officials of Vote counting.
Upset with the situation, journalists protested outside the counting center, calling for transparency.
Officials, including Bonika Chetia, have been accused of blocking media coverage during the process.
The atmosphere remains tense as reporters continue their protest, demanding accountability and updates on the counting.
Aajtak reported, that the journalist has being Vote counting center at Silchar ISBT, from 7.30 am and the officials has not given any updates of counting result. At around 10.00 am they provide the first round counting results. The vote counting has started from 8.00 am.
