Rs 5 Crore worth Yaba Tablet Seized Sribhumi Police, 3 Arrests

In an anti-narcotics operation, Sribhumi police seized Rs 5 Crore worth Yaba Tablet in Baliabazar area of Sribhumi district on April 15 evening. 3 arrested in connection of it.

According to reports, based on secret inputs, police intercepted a vehicle in Baliabazar. After search operation police recovered 16,000 YABA tablets and seized them. The market value of the seized items would be Rs 5 Crore.

Police also arrest three individual in connection of it. They are identified as Hassan Ahmed of Khagail village, Aamir Uddin and Bakor Rosid.

Further investigation is going on.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma stated, “Dealing with the drugs nexus.

Last evening, Sribhumi police conducted an anti-narcotics operation in Baliabazar where a vehicle was intercepted and 16,000 YABA tablets were seized.

3 people have been arrested
