Poonam Pandey team on Thursday night confirms that she is dead at the age of 32 via her official Instagram account. They said that the reason of her death is cervical cancer. On Saturday, February 3 Poonam Pandey revealed that the whole thing was a stunt by posting “I Am Alive”.
She post couple of videos by announcing the same on Instagram. Social Media celebs and users alike are slamming her for the stunts.
Why did Poonam Pandey do this Death Stunts?
She posted a video by saying, “I am alive. I didn’t die of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, I can’t say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer.” She went on to talk about the disease. Sharing the video, Poonam wrote, “I feel compelled to share something significant with you all – I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn’t claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease.”

Her Twitter and Instagram official account is full of post and comments slamming her in the video post where she revealed that she is alive.
Many Celebrities even her own friends is not going to forgive her for this intensive joke. Responding to the news about the publicity stunt done by Kusha Kapila said, “Here is an agency behind this. Someone actually came up with idea and also greenlit it I cannot.”
Designer Saisha Shindhe posted, “Totally disgusted! I called you my friend! You don’t deserve to be my friend! You called this awareness? Shut the f*** up! My mom has had a double mastectomy and she has battled cancer! My sister has had a kidney failure and she’s passed away, my aunt died of mental illness and unlike you they can never come back! Death is not a joke! Death is not a publicity stunt! It’s an actual non quantifiable fact! Shame on you @poonampandeyreal you played with our emotions! And I will never forgive you for this ! Never! What has the world come to? Who are these people?”
The director of Kashmir Files Vivek Agnihotri shared on X, “ “With the emerging challenges of SM, I think there should be some regulations, specially, for the newsmakers and those who call themselves influencers. Normalising sensationalism and gimmicks is dangerous. Fake death news is just the beginning. Aage aage dekho hota hai kya (just wait and watch).”
He also added in his next tweet, “How sinister, how pathetic.”

On Thursday night her team post in her Instagram by saying,“This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply Saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living for that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
