A devastating road accident took place, where one person died and three other injured. The accident took place at Dhekiajuli under Sonitpur district of Assam after a Traveler vehicle hit a pedestrian and struck a scooter.
The accident, reported at Narayanpur area along National Highway no. 15, Dhekiajuli, Sonitpur.
According to reports, the vehicle lost control and first hit a passerby, and then crashed into a scooter. The passerby died on the spot and both people of the scooter served injured, thankfully they survived.
The died passerby identified as, Sagar Das (30) and the injured individuals who are in the scooter identified as, Pritam Nath (22) and Poli Devi (25).
All injured individuals were promptly taken to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) for emergency medical care.
The driver of the Traveler, identified as Kriti Deka also sustained injuries in the accident.
