Assam Government clarifies: No Income Certificate needed to apply Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme

The Government of Assam, Finance Department, has issued a clarification to address concerns regarding the requirement of income certificates under the Orunodoi 3.0 scheme.

On December, 22 Assam government has issued a clarification via social media X. In it stated that the individuals and families holding a valid ration card are not required to submit an income certificate to avail of the financial assistance under the Orunodoi 3.0 scheme. Those who want to apply for Orunodoi 3.0 scheme, holding ration card are automatically eligible for the scheme.

The Orunodoi 3.0 scheme aims to provide financial support of 1,250 per month to economically vulnerable families in Assam.

Authorities therefor advised Applicants to remain cautious and not fall victim to misleading information or the malicious intentions of certain individuals or groups promoting unnecessary issuance of income certificates.

Any individual or entity found misleading the public or facilitating the issuance of income certificates in this regard are liable for strict legal action.

Complaints regarding such activities will be investigated thoroughly, and those found guilty will face severe consequences.

The Assam Government is committed to ensuring smooth implementation of this critical welfare initiative, benefiting the state’s most vulnerable families.
