The Northeast Frontier Railway (NRF) has restore several train that has cancelled due to water logging in Silchar Railway Station. After fixing the Pit line at Silchar Railway Station several train has restore.
The Train that has been restore are:
Trains restored for journeys starting on July 6, 2024:
- Train no. 05659,Silchar to Shribar Passenger
- Train no. 05567, Silchar to Bhairabi Passenger
- Train no. 15641, Silchar to New Tinsukia Express
Trains restored for journeys starting on July 7, 2024:
- Train no. 05660, Shribar to Silchar Passenger
- Train no. 05568, Bhairabi to Silchar Passenger
- Train no. 15642, New Tinsukia to Silchar Express
Earlier, the train has cancelled due flood water logging in Silchar Railway Station in the Lumding Division. The decision for restoring the train has taken on the basis of passenger safety.
