Netflix released the Lust Stories 2 trailer
The highly anticipated second edition of the International Emmy-nominated anthology, ‘Lust Stories 2,’ has unveiled its trailer. Tamannaah Bhatia took to Instagram to share the trailer with her fans. In her post, she wrote, “How much lust is 2 much lust? Find out for yourself because #LustStories2 is coming on June 29 and it will exclusively on Netflix! xcv #LustStories2OnNetflix.”

This anthology is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh.
The star-studded cast includes Kajol, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Amruta Shubhash, Tillotama Shome, and Kumud Mishra. However, the highlight that caught everyone’s attention was the sizzling chemistry between Tamannaah and Vijay. The new season explores various aspects of lust and spanning different age groups and social classes. While offering different perspectives on this taboo subject.
What the Trailer says
The trailer features Neena Gupta in the role of a grandmother. Who compares the human body to Mount Fuji, where lust erupts like a volcano. She even suggests her granddaughter played by Mrunal Thakur, to have a ‘test drive’ with her prospective husband. The teaser also provides a glimpse of Kajol’s intense character who suspects her husband, portrayed by Kumud Mishra, of having feelings for their housekeeper.
Towards the end of the trailer, Vijay Varma’s character breaks into the house of his former lover played by Tamannaah. However, she refuses to engage in a physical relationship with him due to his marital status. Produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Ent. The ‘Lust Stories 2’ is a collection of films, that offer insights into relationships, from a female perspective and so stringing them together thematically.
Commenting on the second anthology of Lust Stories and R Balki stated, “Lust is natural and crucial in a relationship. It is so essential for everyone to acknowledge it. I wanted to create a lust story that families can watch together. Why should stories of lust always be exciting for solo viewing and uncomfortable for family viewing when families are formed by love and lust?”. Konkona Sen Sharma also shared her thoughts and expressing her excitement about showcasing a woman, attaining freedom and taking control of her life in her anthology for Lust Stories 2. Sujoy Ghosh added that the new anthology explores different shades of lust and expressed his gratitude to Netflix, RSVP, and Flying Unicorn for the opportunity. Amit Ravindernath Sharma mentioned his enthusiasm, for being a part of the Emmy-nominated anthology and highlighted the film’s exploration of lust for power and ambition.
The official streaming date for ‘Lust Stories 2’ is yet to be announced.
