Today, June 14 a huge fire broke out at a Sopping Mall in Kolkata, West Bengal. The fire broke out in Kolkata Acropolis Mall at the food court.
Upon receiving the calls about the incidents at least 10 fire tenders immediately rushed to scene. The people who was trapped were vacated by the officials.
The exact cause of the fire is still unknown. The fire officials are on works to control the fire. The fire broke out around 12.40 pm.
The DC SSD Bidisha Das Gupta said, “There is no trapped people in the mall.”
An Official said, “Visibility inside the building is poor as the mall is cover with thick smoke.”
As of now there is no report of injuries inside the mall. The fire operation is underway, some firefighters entered the mall wearing a oxygen masks.
This is the second incident in the city. On Tuesday, a massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Kolkata’s Park Street area. This incident chaos the busy market, however the local police and the fire fighters controlled the situation.
