The Government Railway Police arrested a man in possession of arms and ammunition at Rangia Railway Station in Assam on Tuesday night.
Based on secret inputs, railway police caught the suspect with arms and ammunition from the Rangia Railway Station. The suspect identified as Noor Ali, a resident of Bihar.
During search, police recovered unaccounted cash, a knife, a .3 pistol with two magazines, 13 loose bullets, and a handmade pistol were found in Ali’s bag. Authorities also seized a mobile phone, a large amount of unaccounted cash, a knife, and a knuckle buster.
According to some sources, Noor was planning to travel to Ahmedabad with arms and ammunition for some reason that yet to established.
Further investigation is going to know the reason behind carrying arms and ammunition.
