Karimganj Police on October 7, seized a huge amount of Yaba Tablets worth would be Rs. 1 Crore in Badarpur, Karimganj and one individual arrested in connection of it.
Based secret information, Badarpur Police Station OC Uttam Adhikari with a team launched an operation in Badarpur Ghat area on Silchar-Karimganj High Way. In this road they intercepted a vehicle coming from Silchar towards Karimganj. After search operation they recovered 10,000 Yaba Tablet from the vehicle and seized.
Police also arrested individual, identified Diluar Hussain Choudhury from Katigorah, Cachar.
Further investigation is going to make Assam Free from Drugs.
