Karimganj DC has imposed Section 144 due to apprehension of breach of peace and law and order situation in Patharkandi P.S area. Preventive measure has taken up immediately to maintain law and order situation, peace and public tranquility.
According to reports, of the Circle office, Patharkandi, tension of the area which concerned the peace and law and order regarding public tranquility. To address the concerns Karimganj District imposed Section 144 with restriction.
According to notice the restriction has been provided until further order:-
1. Assembly of 5 (five) or more persons are prohibited.
2. Organizing any agitational programme such as bandh, rallies, strikes, dharnas, demonstrations etc is strictly prohibited.
3. Carrying of any weapon, explosives or any other suspicious objectives prohibited.
4. Obstruction of traffic and illegal parking of unauthorized vehicles prohibited.
5. Using of loud speakers/high decibel sound producing instruments prohibited.
6. Spreading of rumours through social media prohibited.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
This order passed ex-party considering the exigencies of the matter. Any violation of this order shall be punishable under the relevant provision of law. Any person aggrieved by this order may approach the undersigned for exemption/ alteration etc. of this order. In the event of any violation of this prohibitory order, action will invite prosecution U/S 188 of the IPC against the violators.
