Jagannath Rath Yatra 2024: This year Jagannath Rath Yatra has begins from 7 July, 2024. The Jagannath Rath Yatra celebrated all over the world where Hindu people live and who are devotee of Lord Krishna.
Rath Yatra is one of the largest religious gatherings, where Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra are taken from their home in the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple, which is their aunt’s temple.
The Rath Yatra celebrated in large way in Puri where lakh, lakh of devotees come and gathered every year. Jagannath Rath Yatra begins on the day of Dwitiya Tithi during Shukla Paksa of The Ashada month and it ends on the Dashami Tithi.
On July 7, 2024 the Dwitiya Tithi will begin at 04:26 am and end at 04:59 am on July 8. The Jagannath Rath Yatra is also known as Chariot Festival.
