On 1 June Hailakandi Police seized a huge amount of drugs from a house of drugs dealer and arrested two people in connection of it.
Based on information given by the locality Hailakandi police launched a search operation in the area of Borjurai village in Hailakandi. The police recovered drugs from the house of drug dealer Toybur Rahaman Barbhuiya. Police recovered 60 gram of suspected brown Sugar which estimate value would be Rs. 6 lakh. They also recovered many theft things. An Amount of 2 lakh and 3 mobile phone has been recovered.
It has said by the locals that the Toybur Rahaman Barbhuiya few days he has jailed for illegal work, but haven’t reformed. Again, he began to do such work.
Police have arrested Toybur and Babul Laskar in connection of it.
According to a locals, “Toybur Rahaman Barbhuiya is drugs mafia as well as dacoit and a thief. We caught him and give him police custody. He served time in jail but when he come to house he again do same work. Today a man named Babul Laskar from town came to his house when I caught him I found drugs in her pocket. Then I called the police and police recovered drugs from his house and with many theft items.”
