Guwahati police have arrested three individuals, who involved in a theft at a temple in Khetri under Kamrup district of Assam.
They have arrested for ransacking the Kamakhya temple in Khetri and stealing a brass bell weighing about 6 kilograms. The arrested thieves identified as Debojit Dey, Manoj Rohang, and Dibankar Haloi.
After stealing the bell the suspects reportedly hide the bell in a house in Lakhtokia, Guwahati. The Panbazar Police traced and arrested the three thieves and recovered the stolen bell following investigation.
The Arrested thieves are under interrogation of Khetri Police. Further investigation is going on.
