A CGPD team from Satagaon Police Station, Guwahati busted a gang of house burglars after they found committed an act of burglary and theft during raid on Monday night.
The arrested burglars identified as Abu Bakkar Siddiqui@Rahul (20) of Satgaon, Nitul Ali (26) of Six Mile, Rahul Ahmed (21) of Sarthebari, Najir Ali (22) of Dispur & Md Sono Ali (38) of Barpeta. They were arrested in the crime that they committed an act of burglary & theft from a shop in Baghorbori.
According to information, the gang led by Abu Bakkar Siddiqui also hired a vehicle on rent from a Rental Agency and then used the vehicle for commission of the offence. The used vehicle has also been seized.
Guwahati Police also recovered and seized 2 printers, which they stole. Legal action initiated.
Investigations revealed that Abu Bakkar Siddique was the mastermind behind the gang’s operations, which included a string of at least criminal activities in recent month.
Further investigation is going on and also police interrogating the arrested accused.
