In the major development Singer Zubeen Garg death investigation is going on. CID SDGP Munna Prasad Gupta has confirmed during press briefing that experts at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) have received the viscera report from Delhi. The report will now cross verified with the postmortem findings earlier that conducted on GMCH.
A special expert has been formed at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital to cross check of the viscera report. Once the verification complete the committee will prepare a comprehensive consolidated report, which is expected to be submitted to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma within the next two days.
Gupta mentioned that a portion of the report will also be shared with selected journalists and political representatives for transparency.
