Dulari Kanya Scheme – Under Government Of Arunachal Pradesh:-
On 15th August 2016, the honorable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh announced a special scheme for the girl child named “Dulari Kanya”.
The scheme “Dulari Kanya” deposits RS 20,000 into the fixed deposit bank account of a girl child born in a government or recognized private hospital. The beneficiary can withdraw the maturity amount upon reaching 18, subject to verification by the respective district’s DMO.
How to Apply For Dulari Kanya Scheme:

- Applicants seeking benefits under the scheme must submit their applications in the prescribed form to the office of the relevant medical officer in charge or medical superintendent.
- The concerned Medical Officer in-charge / Medical Superintendent after verification, shall in turn forward the document to the concerned District Medical Officer.
Required Documents For Dulari Kanya Scheme:
- A copy of delivery / discharge certificate by the MO of the hospital (as a roof of institution delivery)
- A copy of MCP card
- A copy of birth certificate issued by the register of Birth and Death.
The father/guardian must provide a copy of the Schedule Tribe certificate or domicile certificate (for non-APST) indicating their duration of residence in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Two numbers of group photograph of girl child with parents/guardians.
The parents or guardians must provide a copy of their Aadhaar card and, if applicable, the child’s Aadhaar card.
Eligibility Criteria For Dulari Kanya Scheme:
- Should be an Arunachal Pradesh schedule tribe or a domicile resident of Arunachal Pradesh or household residential certificate.
- Should be born in a government or government recognized private hospital.
- Restricted to maximum of first 2 live girl child.
Procedure to Claim of Maturity:
- A copy of class X passed certificate with a copy of marksheet.
- A self -declaration about being unmarried on her 18th
- A copy of bank pass book opened in the name of girl beneficiary in State Bank Of India.
- Withdrawal form filled by the girl herself.
Benefits of Dulari Kanya yojana in Arunachal Pradesh:
- The government will deposit RS 20,000 in the bank account in the name of girl child born in any government hospital
- The amount will be paid along with the accrued interest after the girl child attains 18 years of her age.
