Delhi AAP leader and party winner Atishi has handed over her resignation letter as chief minster to Lt Governor V K Saxena on Sunday, February 9. She had resigned the day after Delhi Election results in which AAP has failed to succeed.
After 26 years BJP again come into power at Delhi. Meanwhile congress has failed to succeed a single seat.
BJP has won 48 assembly seats out of 70 seats. BJP is likely to claim power next week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns from his foreign trip, according to party leaders quoted in a news agency report.
Till now BJP has not declared any name that who would be new Chief Minister of Delhi.
Atishi has taken oath as Delhi CM on September after Delhi former CM Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post amid corruption Allegation.
This year (2025 Delhi election) Atishi is the only woman candidate of AAP who won in Delhi election.
