A robbery incident took place where two robbers snatched a bag of Rs. 32 Lakh during day time today, June 25 in Kokrajhar.
The incident took place in front of Axis Bank on JD Road in Kokrajhar town. This is a daring incident as two thieves come by motorcycle and snatched the bag which was full of Rs. 32 lakh and fled from the scene.
Incident occurred when the money was being transported from the LIC to Bank for deposit. This incident leaves the locals and bank officials shocked. As the incident happened in the daylight in the public area.
How dare are the thieves. Local police have launched an investigation to catch the thieves. They are also reviewing CCTV footage to identify the thieves and arrest.
The types of the crime has made people worry about safety in the area. They are asking for better security to stop it from happening again.
