A complaint has been registered against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia for offensive and deemed vulgar remarks in the YouTube show India’s Got Latent during latest episode. Ranveer Allahbadia is popularly known as BeerBiceps in YouTube.
Due to this offensive remarks the clip has viral everywhere and official complaint has been booked with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission.
His offensive statement was “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
First he asked the contestant about the “size of his p****” and even offered ₹2 crore if he “sucked his d***”. But he didn’t stop there he asked the given question.
After complaint booked and his offensive question sparked outrage, he apologies and shared a video on this. He stated, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry.”
He also addressed by stating, ““Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context, justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here for an apology.”
He continued, “he had a lapse in judgement” and that he is “learning from this experience”.
He also added, “I personally had a lapse of judgment, wasn’t cool on my part. The podcast is watched by people of all ages, don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly and family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect.”
In this episode Content creators Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Mukhija, along with ‘Beer Biceps podcaster was present there. The show was basically Samay Raina’s.
Mumbai CM Reacted on Ranveer Allahbadia Offensive Question
Even Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis reacted on it. He stated, “I have come to know about it. I have not seen it yet. Things have been said and presented in a wrong way.”
By adding, “Everyone has freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others. In our society, we have made some rules, if someone violates them, it is absolutely wrong, and action should be taken against them,” ANI reported.
A Mumbai Police have reached the studio of the show India’s Got Latent on Monday. The Formal complaint was filed against Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, and the organisers of the show.
