The main aim of the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abjijan is to empower youth of Assam to become atmanirbhar means to become self-reliant.
Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abjijan (CMAAA) 2.0
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the CMAAA 2.0 scheme during the cabinet meeting held on 12th September 2023. The main aims of the scheme are to reduce unemployment through the state and fostering entrepreneurship.
The CMAAA provides financial assistance (2 lakh-5 lakh), training and market access to empower the youth to become self-reliant. Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abjijan is commonly known as Atmanirbhar scheme.
Who are eligible for CMAAA 2.0 scheme
If an applicant’s minimum age is 28 and maximum age is not more than 45 years, they are eligible for CMAAA 2.0 scheme.
Educational Qualification
- For General Applicants minimum qualification should be 10th pass.
- SC/ST/OBC applicants qualification is indicate upto class
An applicant must have the necessary skills, experience and knowledge to carry out income-generating activities.
The applicant must have a scheduled commercial bank account opened before April 1, 2024.
The applicant must not have defaulted on any loan from a scheduled commercial bank in the past.
Only one person per household can apply for this scheme. For this scheme, a household includes husband, wife, brother and sister.
The applicant must be registered with the Employment Exchange.
The applicant must not be a beneficiary of CMAAA 1.0.

How to apply Atmanirbhar Assam 2.0 scheme
- For online application first go through https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in/
- Now click on sign up option that given in the page for new registration.
- After registration click on the log in option to fill the form of CMAAA 2.0 scheme
- Provide all the necessary details and upload necessary document and click on submit button.
- After successful submission an acknowledgement slip is generated along with a reference number, with the help of which a registered applicant can track the status of the application.
- If you are found eligible for the scheme you will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.
