Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava movie hit theater on the day of Valentine’s Day Friday making it the biggest opening for Vicky Kaushal and Bollywood this year. Chhaava has earned Rs 47.25 Crore on its first Day box office collection as of sacnilk.

In film Chhaava Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj son’s Sambhaji Maharaja and Rashmika Mandana plays the role of Maharani Yesubai. His performance has stunned all. The film was directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films.

On Day 1 the Chhaava movie has earned ₹ 31.00 Cr in India Net Collection, according to Sacnilk. In Worldwide it has earned Rs 47 Crore. In Overseas Collection ₹ 10.00 Cr and India Gross Collection ₹ 37.25 Cr.

About the film

The film is based on the life of Maratha king Sambhaji, who is son of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Chhaava has adapted from the Marathi Novel with the same title written by Shivaji Sawant. The film is starrer by Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandana as Maharani Yesubai Bhonsalen, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Hambir Rao and many more.

Furthermore Chhaava movie has become Vicky Kaushal biggest opener ever. His movie Bad Newz has collected Rs 8.30 in Day 1, Uri: The Surgical Strike collected Rs 8.20 Crore, Sam Bahadur collected Rs 6.25 Crore.
