Cachar police launched an operation in the area of Kalain, Cachar and seized 49 packets containing suspected Yaba Tablets and arrested 2 individual in connection of it.
On September 28, Cachar police intercepted an Auto-Rickshaw bearing registration number- AS11EC1725 at Kalain. After searching the vehicle police recovered and seized 49 packets contain 9,800 suspected Yaba Tablets.
Police arrested two individual in connection of it. The arrested individual, identified as Md. Sahim Uddin Khan of Vill – Bairabpur Part II, PS – Kalain and Md. Didarul Islam of Vill – Dumkar PS- Kalain.
Further investigation is going. To make the Assam Drugs Free police launched operation to arrest the smuggler.
