Cachar police seized a huge amount of drugs worth Rs 20 crore in Silchar on April 30.
Based on secret inputs, Cachar police launched an operation in the area of Meherpur, Silchar. There police intercepted a vehicle. During search operation, police managed to recovered 386g heroin; 60,000 Yaba tablets from the vehicle. One peddler arrested.
By injuring police official tried to escape. The arrested one individual identified as Raja Mia Borbhuiya residents of Meherpur, Silchar. While another managed to escape by taking the advantage of dark.
Further investigation is going on.
