Assam Police arrest 36 individual from across various districts for allegedly posting pro-Pakistan content on social media following the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Assam Police have taken a zero-tolerance stance on what it terms “anti-national behaviour” on Indian soil.
Authorities stated these individuals are being booked under serious charges related to national security, and their digital activities are being closely examined.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma already stated that, “Assam will not tolerate any individual who, directly or indirectly, supports or defends Pakistan in connection with the heinous attack in Pahalgam.”
