A violent clash broke out between two groups of matriculation students over cheating in exam hall in Sasaram in Rohtas district of Bihar, which result one student shot dead and 2 other injured on Friday.
The violent clash took place in Sasaram exam centre, between two groups which escalated into gun fight.
The police immediately rushed to the scene and injured students were sent to hospital for treatment.
“A gunfight between students took place. One of the students received bullet injury in the leg and another in the back. One of the students succumbed to injury during treatment. Villagers along with family members of the deceased student tried to block the highway, however, we ensured them of action in the case. They were convinced and took the body for the final rites,” says a police official quoted at TOI.

Police have launched investigation into the incident and launched an operation to identify who is responsible of it.
Bihar School Examination Board’s (BSEB) class 10 exam has started from February 17 and will continue till February 25, 2025. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. The second shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Entry to the exam center will be allowed only until 9 AM for the first shift. For the second shift, entry will be permitted between 1 PM and 1:30 PM.
