On 9 February the Government of India announce Bharat Ratna, The nation’s highest civilian award for more three distinguished persons. The name of the person who will honor by Bharat Ratna are Former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, another Former Prime Minister Shri PV Narasimha Rao and Dr. MS Swaminathan. They will honor with award for their contributions to the agriculture, farmers’ welfare nation building and economic reforms. PM Narendra Modi announce this news via. his Social Media account (X).

About PV Narasimha Rao who will honor with Bharat Ratna

PV Narsimha Rao was born in 1921, June 28. His full name is Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao. He was an Indian Lawyer, statesman as well as a politician. PV Narasimha Rao served as the 9th Prime Minister of India from 1991-1996. He is also an agriculturist. PV Narasimha Rao also served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was also the Minister of External Affairs from January 14, 1980 to July 18, 1984. He served as the Home affairs Minister from July 1984 to December 1984. From December 1984 to September 1985 he was Defence Minister.

MS Swaminathan

MS Swaminathan born in 1925 August 7. His full name Mankombu Sambasivan Swaminathan. MS Swaminathan, widely recognized as the father of the Green Revolution in India. He obtained a BSc in Zoology from Maharajas College in Thiruvananthapuram, and another in Agricultural Sciences from Coimbatore Agricultural College. He pursued further studies, earning an MSc in Agricultural Sciences with a specialization in genetics and plant breeding from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), followed by a PhD from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

Chaudhary Charan Singh

Chaudhary Charan Singh born in 1902 December 23. He was an Indian Politician and also a freedom fighter. He served as the 5th Prime Minister of India from 1979, July 28 to 1980, January 14 and also the 5th Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Charan Singh entered the political arena by winning a seat in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Chhaprauli in 1937. He continued to represent the constituency in subsequent elections held in 1946, 1952, 1962, and 1967. Additionally, he held the position of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh twice, first in 1967 and later in 1970.
