Bengaluru Murder: The Prime Suspect in the brutal murder of 29 years old woman Mahalakshmi, whose dead body found into pieces inside a fridge, in Bengaluru has died by suicide in Odisha, police said on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Bengaluru, Shekar H Tekkannavar, said that the accused, Mukthirajan Pratap Roy, took his own life while being pursued by law enforcement.

The man dead body was recovered hanging from in Bhuinpur village, under Bhadrak district, Odisha, which is about 3 km from his house.

Local Police also recovered a suicide note. They recovered a bag, notebook and a scooty from the crime scene, where body was recovered.

Bengaluru Murder

Mukti was Mahalakshmi’s colleagues. The Bengaluru Police had been trying to locate the accused Muktiranjan for two days and detained his brother. When the accused brother found a call of his death from Odisha police he informed the Bengaluru Police.

The suicide note was found inside the notebook, which was recovered in which the accused stated that he killed Mahalakshmi, the Bengaluru woman, who was murdered and found pieces inside the fridge of her room, India Today reports.

Earlier, the victim husband suspected Astaf, who had identified as her lover.

According to post mortem report the victim body was chopped into 59 pieces.

The dead of the woman Mahalakshmi was recovered on September 21, inside a bridge in her residence, where she live alone separately from her husband.
