A shocking incident took place in Karimganj, a ration shop owner was rescued with his throat cut. A ration shop owner was brutally attacked with a sharp weapon when a miscreant entered to steal. The owner is now under going treatment at Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
The Shop owner identified as Kamal Uddin residents of Badarpur Mission Road, Karimganj. Kamal Uddin continues business as usual in his ration shop. Suddenly, a criminal named Zafar entered from the back of the shop. It is alleged that he came to steal. At that time the owner of the shop saw him. The miscreant Zafar while trying to conceal his identity, takes out a knife from his pocket and stabs Kamal Uddin in the throat with it, causing the him to fall to the ground.
After hearing the screams Local people came to the spot and immediately rushed to The Srigauri Primary Hospital for urgent medical care. Unfortunately, for his critical injuries, he was later transferred to the Silchar Medical College Hospital for better treatment. Kamal Uddin is currently fighting with death.
Although the Badarpur police promptly responded to the scene of the crime, But the accused managed to fled from the scene. This incident leaves the community in a state of unease and uncertainty.
Further investigation is going on. The police team went to Zafar house to arrest him but they didn’t find him. Despite they arrest his younger brother for interrogation.
