Assam Police Recovered Grenades, Detonators In Sonitpur, ahead of Republic Day

On the eve of Republic Day, January 25 early morning, Assam police recovers explosive and related items at Hagrajuli Gaon under Dhekiajuli station in Sonitpur district of Assam.

Assam police have increased security across the state ahead of Republic Day. They are conducting frequent checks and have deployed more personnel on the streets to ensure safety and prevent any incidents.

As a part of the measure, Assam Police in early morning operation recovered Grenades, Detonators buried underground in the jungle area near Khwbra village, Batashipur under Dhekiajuli Police Station.

According to Sonitpur police, the explosives items including five hand grenades, three detonators and other materials used in the installation of bomb recovered. This items were recovered in a polythene bag from underground.
