Assam Police arrest four Bangladeshi Nationals from Indo-Bangladesh border in Karimganj, Assam.

This action follows ongoing efforts by security forces in Assam to closely monitor the international border, ensuring strict vigilance against illegal infiltration.

The arrested four individual, identified as Sohil Howladar, Shah Alam, Saurab Howladar and Md. Kosa. This arrested individual later send back in Bangladesh.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma applauded the action taken by the Assam Police. He stated through Facebook, “We are fully aware and aware against immigration. At the India-Bangladesh border of Karimganj, our Assam police arrested four Bangladeshi immigrants named Sohil Howladar, Shah Alam, Saurab Howladar and Md. Kosa. And later they are sent back to Bangladesh across the border.

Appreciated the work of our police to provide service to prevent infiltration by stopping the Ahrah border day and night.

In yet another successful push back operation of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, Assam Police managed to apprehend and send back to Bangladesh the following individuals through the Karimganj border

1. Sohil Hawladar

2. Shah Alam

3. Sourab Hawladar

4. Md Kawsar

Good job Team!”

Earlier on September 22, police and the Border Security Force arrested two illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in two separate instances.
