Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma urges all the citizen of Assam to participate in earth hour by switching off the lights of the house on March 22.
From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM people need to off the non-essential lights, to join the movement of environmental conservation.
The Chief Minister stressed that if everyone reduces energy use for just one hour, it can help lower emissions and create a more sustainable future.

What is Earth Hour?
WWF’s Earth Hour is the biggest global grassroots movement for the planet. Every year, people from 190 countries and territories come together to switch off all non-essential lights for an hour, it shows the power of collective action.
