The Government of Assam had announced an award scheme in 2005, which is known as Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme. Anundoram Borooah was the first civil servant of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria of Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme:

Qualification: Students who have secured 75% or more marks in their HSLC examination, Higher Madrassa examination, and FM examination conducted by SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board are eligible to apply for this scheme.

• Bank Passbook of the Candidate.
