Actress Alia Bhatt made an exciting announcement on Tuesday regarding her upcoming film project with director Vasan Bala. The film, titled ‘Jigra,’. It is set to be a joint production between Karan Johar and Alia herself. This collaboration comes on the heels of the success of their romantic drama, Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Alia took to her Instagram account to share a video unveiling the news.

Following the release of the announcement video by the renowned filmmaker, fans inundated the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons. Vasan Bala, the director, has previously helmed films such as ‘Monica O My Darling,’ a crime thriller titled ‘Peddlers,’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.’

In a recent interview with the US-based publication Variety, director Farhan Akhtar revealed that ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is currently on hold due to scheduling conflicts and the actor’s strike. Which has complicated Priyanka’s availability. He expressed the belief that the film now has its own destiny and will happen when the time is right.
