A 28-year-old air hostess working with a private airline was found dead, allegedly by suicide, at her rented apartment in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, on October 24.
Police reported that the woman, a native of Jammu, was discovered hanging in her room by her flatmate and colleagues after a party at the apartment the previous night.
Following the incident, police registered a case based on a complaint lodged by her mother. Investigators are currently examining all possible angles, including the events leading up to the death.
According to police sources, statements from friends and co-workers are being recorded as part of the ongoing investigation to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.
