Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme |Students Education Loan | Apply Now:-
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched the Assam Abhinandan Education loan Subsidy scheme at the Srimanta Sankardev international auditorium on 26 December 2019 in the presence of Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Education Minister Siddharth Bhattacharya, several senior officials of the state finance department and bank officials.
The objective of this scheme is to provide a loan subsidy of up to RS 50,000 on education loans to students pursuing higher education from good institutions. The Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme has been started with the Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, the government of Assam will provide a one- time subsidy on loans to all students pursuing higher education on education loans. Under the Abhinandan Scheme all major banks, all commercial banks such as Federal Bank and HDFC Bank are included.
In this scheme, the state government will provide subsidy to the family of those students who has taken an education loan of more than RS 1 lakh. Students getting an education on an education loan can subscribe to this scheme online or offline.

ABHINANDAN EDUCATION LOAN SUBSIDY FORM 2024 :
With the internet portal details provided for the Assam financial department, you can apply under this plan. Only qualifying students can take advantage of the state’s particular scheme. However, the candidate must first complete the registration form. After that, the online department will analyses your application to see if you are eligible or not.
Who can apply for this scheme :

- Applicant student must be a permanent resident of Assam
- Education loan should have been availed from any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank within the state recognized by the Reserve Bank of India.
- No income criteria
- All the loans sanctioned since 1 April 2020 amounting to RS 1 lakh or more,
- Beneficiaries already benefited under Bidya Lakshmi Scheme is not eligible for application in this scheme.
- Loan accounts must not be under NPA status.

All the applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to become eligible for Abhinandan Education Loan Subsidy Scheme:-

- Afterword, the Assam Abhinandan Scheme application form will appear
- Here fill all the necessary details accurately and upload the supporting documents
- Finally, enter the necessary details and click at “submit” button to complete the application process.
