The 6 years old girl who was kidnapped on Monday was found by the Police after almost 20 hours after on Tuesday. The name of the girl is Abigail Sara Reji. She was found in a abandoned state at Asramam Maidan, Kollam, Kerela. Local residents informed the police about the child here.
Police have reached the spot and taken to the custody of child. The girl currently is at AR camp. The official has given biscuits and water to the girl.
How did 6 years old girl kidnapped
The six years old girl Abigel Sara Reji, was kidnapped at around 4.45 pm on Monday from near Oyoor. She dragged into a white sedan on Maruthanampally Road. The kidnappers suspected to be four in numbers, including a woman in the gang. The girl abducted when she was going for tuition classes along with her eight years old brother. According to the boy’s statement to police. When the boy tried to stop the kidnappers they pushed him aside and took the girl. The boy suffered minor injuries on his knee while stopping the kidnappers.
The six years old girl found abandoned in a place that lies just 25 kilometers from the native. The locals came to see the girl by 1.30 pm. After this the police arrived take her into custody.
The police had focused their search on the white car. The car which used by the kidnappers. And also they released the sketch of the man who reportedly kidnapped the girl child. The kidnappers demanded 10 lakh to release the girl.
Money seized from a car washing center
On Tuesday at around 6.30 am police reached a car washing center at Sreekandeswaram in Thiruvananthapuram. They reached there after getting some information of the car. In which the girl child was kidnapped. From there police took three people into custody including the owner of the car washing center. Reports said that Police seized 19 bundles of Rs.500 from the center in a bag. It learnt that nearly Rs.7.5 Lakh seized.
IG Sparjan Kumar said that the probe team has collected crucial details to trace the four member gang. Police have launched search operation on the Thiruvanathapuram-Kollam border areas to arrest the kidnappers.
