At least three people were killed in a tragic road accident in Makum, located in Assam’s Tinsukia district, early Tuesday morning, November 25.
The fatal collision took place in the Sukanpukhuri area when a night super bus and an ambulance crashed head-on, leaving the ambulance completely crushed from the impact. Three occupants of the ambulance died instantly, while several others sustained injuries. The injured victims were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.
According to officials, the identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. Preliminary reports suggest that the ambulance had seven passengers on board at the time of the accident.
Police have reached the site, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the crash.
