Three Woman Killed in Train Accident at Bamunigaon Railway Station in Boko, Assam

A Shocking train accident took place in Boko, Assam, where three woman killed after being hit by a train near Bamunigaon Railway Station on Monday morning.

According to reports, the three woman had gone for a routine morning walk, where a train hit them. The accident happened near Level Crossing Gate No. 240. At that time, two trains were passing, and a Guwahati-bound train coming from behind struck them, killing them on the spot.

The victims were identified as Uttara Das (50), Rumi Das (35), and Karabi Mali (35), all from Chatabari No. 2 village under Boko.

Soon after the accident locals and police rushed to the site. The incident has once again raised concerns about safety on the busy Kamakhya–Jogighopa railway line, where nearly 20 people have died in similar accidents so far.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement. The tragedy has left the victims’ village in deep shock and mourning.
