Assam Police Today, June 23 has took their social media platforms and alert public on scam.
The Assam police said some of the scammers will call by pretending as Treasury officers and claimed that their pension are being stopped. This scammers is targeting the retires officials.
They will ask you for documents or such things. Don’t give them. Don’t respond to their call. Even block the number. Verify with the concerned department for such incidents.
File a report against the fraud or number to the Cyber crime officials. The toll free number of Cyber Crime Assam is 1930. Just dial 1930 and filed a report against cybercrime or cybercrime.gov.in
