Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection

ย Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Film Faces Drop in Collections on Day 6

“Satyaprem Ki Katha” director is Sameer Vidwans and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. This marks the first collaboration between Sajid, Kartik, and Kiara.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer “Satyaprem Ki Katha” witnessed a decline in box office collections on its sixth day, according to early estimates. The movie projects to earn approximately Rs. 3.30 to 3.4 crores, bringing its total collection to around Rs. 45 crores. The film expects to reach an estimated total of Rs. 51 crores by the end of its first week. The film’s average numbers can be attribute to its decent performance over the extended weekend.

However, the weekday trend poses challenges for the film’s long-term performance. On Tuesday, the three national chains reported similar collections to Monday, but there were some group bookings in the multiplexes.

The dip in collections was particularly evident in the mass belts, possibly due to the content appealing more to multiplex audiences. Based on the current trend, the film projects to achieve a lifetime collection of around Rs. 70 crores, similar to Varun Dhawan’s “Bhediya.” All eyes are now on the film’s second-weekend trend, as it will ultimately determine its overall performance. Following a strong opening weekend with collections of Rs. 38.50 crores, “Satyaprem Ki Katha” witnessed a drop in collections on Monday. Early estimates indicate that the movie earned around Rs. 3.60 to 3.90 crores on its fifth day, bringing the total collection to Rs. 42.25 crores. The drop observed across the board, particularly in mass areas, although the film fared better in multiplexes compared to single screens.

On Monday, the movie collected Rs. 2.00 crores across the three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, accounting for 65 percent of the day’s business. The hold considered average, and now the film’s performance over the opening week will determine its fate in the long run. With the usual trend, the opening week expects to reach around the Rs. 51 crore mark, and the second weekend will play a crucial role in determining the film’s future.
