Mumbai Police has detained one suspect and taken to custody for interrogating at Bandra Police station in Mumbai on Friday a day on Saif Ali Khan Stabbed Case. Mumbai Crime Branch DCP and Senior officials has also joined the interrogation.
On Thursday at around 2:30 am, an unidentified miscreants attacked on Saif Ali khan six times during robbery attempt. After that he immediately rushed to the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.
According to some reports, the detained man is an intruder and is being arrested, but the police has not confirmed yet about the arrest.
According to News 18 reports, a source told that the suspect had also recced Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan house, ‘Mannat’, as well. But he could not enter due to tight security.
According to a report, Mumbai police stated that the quadruplex where the actor lives with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children, Taimur and Jeh, had no surveillance cameras inside or outside. This made it difficult to track the intruder’s movements.
A police officer told The Times of India that there were no personal guards at the entrance or inside the flat to monitor visitors or handle emergencies. The building society also did not maintain a logbook to track who entered or exited the premises.
What is the Current condition of Saif Ali Khan?
In the press conference the doctor of Lilavati Hospital said that Saif Ali Khan has walked on his own into the hospital yesterday after getting six times stabbed by the attackers. They also stated that he even came with his child and did not even take a stretcher.
The doctor also stated that he has sifted from ICU to special room of the hospital, and likely to get discharged in two to three days.
The doctor confirmed that the actor has been able to walk and is experiencing minimal pain or symptoms.
They added that the actor needs rest due to a back wound, and his movements will be limited for about a week. Visitor access has also been restricted temporarily.
Dr Nitin Dange, Chief Neurosurgeon Lilavati Hospital Mumbai says ANI, “There were two injuries on his hand and one was in the neck which has been cured by plastic surgery…I have operated the spine and taken out the sharp object in the spine…Saif Ali Khan is better now…We have started his normal diet and he is speaking and moving…We made him walk, and he walked well…He has been shifted from the ICU to the normal ward…”

A CCTV Footage emerged which shows the attacker stay 53 minutes at house
New CCTV footage shows the attacker climbing the stairs to the house at around 1:38 am. In another clip, he is seen leaving at around 2:33 am.
This indicates that the attacker entered the house at 1:37 am and stayed there for 53 minutes.
